A man was shot dead and another seriously injured on June 20 in the "autonomous region" created by protesters in Seattle, Washington.
Police said the shooting occurred around 2:30 pm on June 20 (4:30 pm Hanoi time) in what is known as the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Region" (CHOP).
Protesters later told the police that the victims had been transferred to a regional hospital.
The suspect fled.
The protest organizers met to discuss the shooting.
The "Capitol Hill Autonomous Region" was created two weeks ago amid a wave of protests "The color life is also important" in the US.
