The man in San Diego city shot his wife and three sons dead after an argument and suicide.
The shooting occurred on November 16 in the Paradise Hills area, southeastern US city of San Diego. Police were at the scene after neighbors reported gunshots.

Authorities found two adults and a three-year-old child killed at the scene. Three children aged 5, 9 and 11 were taken to the hospital, but two of them did not survive. The third child is still undergoing surgery, according to San Diego police spokesman Matt Dobbs.
The incident happened after the father was banned from contacting the children on November 15. The couple broke out an argument a day later, before the man opened fire on family members. The suspect then shoots himself and is killed.
The City of San Diego police did not disclose the victims' identities.
