Security forces in Pearl Harbor were deployed after receiving reports of shooting at a shipyard, leaving many injured.
An official at Pearl Harbor-Hickam Mixed Base confirmed on Twitter that the shooting occurred at 2:30 pm on December 4 (7:30 pm on December 5, Hanoi time) at the naval shipyard and security forces. Security has sealed off the entrances to the base.

Many people were injured after the shooting, including two in critical condition. Local media reported that several of the shot victims were civilians and suspects committed suicide.
A witness said that he was sitting at his desk when he heard strange noises. "I realized it was gunfire so I looked out the window and saw three people lying on the ground," the witness said.
