A man stormed into Ostrava city hospital, east of Czech today, shooting 4 people dead, 2 seriously injured.
"I can confirm the shooting at Ostrava hospital around 7am this morning," Interior Minister Jan Hamacek wrote on Twitter.
The Czech broadcaster quoted police spokesman Pavla Jirouskova as saying the suspect had fled, about 1m8 tall, had blond hair and wore a red jacket when committing a crime. The police are investigating the incident and calling on people to help.
Ostrava is the third largest city in Czech, about 300 km east of Prague.
