Suspected Qasim in Shah Latif town, Karachi city, Pakistan was arrested on November 19 by police on charges of murder, according to Pakistani media. At the police station, Qasim admitted using a gun to kill Farooq, a steel mill worker and his son Haris, a student at Karachi University.

Qasim accused Farooq's father and father of stealing his home's wifi password to be used as a thief. Relatives of the victims said the two sides have exchanged about "using the temple" wifi from nearly two months ago.

Using wifi without the consent of others is not illegal in Pakistan, but is considered theft under Islamic law. Pakistan is an Islamic country with 96.28% of the population are Muslim.
