The US Congressional police suspended six members and investigated 29 others for their actions in the Capitol Hill riots.
Yogananda Pittman, acting director of the US Congressional Police, announced on February 18 that any officer who acted "unacceptable" in the January 6 riots would be disciplined.
"Our Office of Professional Responsibility was investigating the actions of 35 police officers that day. We suspended six of them," the US congressional police spokesman said.
The video of the Capitol Hill attack shows some officers turning a blind eye as rioters flooded parliament.
Johnson, who has been suspended from work, wears a hat to sympathize with the protesters so that they allow him to pass through and into a colleague rescue building, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The US Justice Department has prosecuted more than 250 people for breaking into Capitol Hill during the riot that killed five people, including a police officer.
