Utah Republican Sen. Mitt Romney was criticized by Trump supporters and booed as "traitors" when flying to Washington to confirm the election results.
In a video posted to Twitter on January 5, Senator Mitt Romney was waiting for a flight from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Washington, when an angry woman approached and criticized him for not supporting him.
"Why don't you support President Trump?" Asked the woman.
"I support President Trump," replied Romney.

However, the woman was not satisfied with this answer and continued to ask Romney about the election results.
"It's a long story but a very clear constitutional and constitutional process," says Romney.
"He was elected as a conservative to represent the conservatives. End of the day," the woman continued to argue.
"In fact, that's not how the constitution works," Romney said before shutting down her laptop and walking away.
However, the trouble did not stop there when another video on the flight showed the passengers around Romney shouting "Traitor! Traitor! Traitor!".

Romney announced he would vote to confirm Biden's election, even criticizing Republican members for opposing the confirmation of election results.
"A horrible scheme to disprove electors may raise some people's political ambitions, but dangerously threaten our Democratic Republic," Romney said in a statement today.
