France: A Chechen-born refugee accused of praising the persecution for "liking" the image of a beheaded French teacher.
Samuel Paty, a history teacher, was attacked and murdered on his way home from school for showing students a caricature of the prophet Mohammed during a free speech lesson.
The killer was an 18-year-old Chechen refugee who lived in France since a young age, and was killed on the spot by police.
This young man living in the town of Blois, was indicted on October 25.
Prosecutor Frederic Chevallier said the authorities also found a few knives and some weapons in the man's home, adding he denied he had radicalization.
After Patty's murder on October 16, the French government launched a crackdown on the Islamic extremist movement.
The caricature of the prophet Mohammed is considered blasphemy by many Muslims.
