Amber Barrett, 32, of North Dakota, was indicted on charges of neglect for leaving six children with the dead man's body in a state of drug shock.
According to the indictment released in the Cass district court, Fargo city yesterday, police received a call from a house on November 16 to notify the unconscious man. When they arrived, they were brought in by six unidentified minors.

The group of children showed them a man lying motionless on the living room floor. The police attempted to rescue this person but were unsuccessful.
The police immediately contacted the house owner, Amber Barrett, 32, when she was at work. Barrett told a policeman that her friend was sweating a lot and stuttering so she believed this person had overdosed.
However, Barrett admitted she knew the man had died before going to work, causing her to be arrested. In addition to being charged with neglecting children, Barrett was also charged with failing to report the man's death to police.
