Boi Boi panda was brought from the US to China on a private flight of FedEx carrier on November 19.

Boi Boi, weighing 114 kg, was born at the National Zoo of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington 2015. Under the panda loan agreement between the US and China, baby raccoons must be brought to China when they turn 4 years old.

On a 16-hour flight on the Boeing 777F, Boi Boi will be given favorite food. FedEx has stuck a panda on the fuselage. "Boi Boi will be the only" item "on the non-stop flight, not to mention 30 kg of bamboo, bamboo, snacks and water," FedEx wrote on Twitter.

Zoo has organized events since the beginning of last week to bid farewell to Boi Boi. Fans from all over the United States flock to say goodbye this weekend. Children can write letters to pandas and these letters will be brought to China.

"Boi is part of our family," said Steve Monfort, zoo leader. "Our team has taken care of it and watched it grow with millions of others."
