Covid-19 appeared in 118 countries and territories, causing nearly 119,000 people infected, more than 4,200 deaths, the number of new deaths in Italy continued to rise sharply.
The number of new infections and deaths in Italy continues to rise rapidly. Italy recorded 977 more positive cases of nCoV, bringing the total number of infected people in the country to 10,149. Italy is also the country with the second highest number of Covid-19 deaths in the world, only after China, with 631 cases, an increase of 168 cases compared to the previous day.
The number of infected people in Iran was 8,042, an increase of 881 cases. With 54 new deaths, the number of people dying from nCoV in Iran has increased to 291.
South Korea recorded 35 new infections, the lowest increase since the outbreak in the country, bringing the total number of nCoV infections to 7,513, of which 58 died. Korea usually publishes the data twice daily in the morning and afternoon.
China has not announced the number of new infections and deaths. President Xi Jinping on March 10 visited the heart of Wuhan. He affirmed that Hubei province as well as the capital of Wuhan basically controlled the virus spread. "Stabilizing and reversing the situation here has created initial success," he stressed.
Japan recorded 57 new infections, bringing the total number of positive cases for nCoV to 587, of which the number of deaths was 10.
France and Spain continued to record a series of new cases, of which, the number of positive cases increased byCoCoV 372 and 464, respectively. The total number of nCoV infections in France is currently 1,784 and Spain is 1,695, with 33 and 35 deaths respectively.
Germany has detected 1,565 cases of nCoV infection, an increase of 341 cases compared to the previous day, the number of deaths remains at two. He recorded 62 new cases, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 383, including 6 deaths. British Deputy Minister of Health Nadine Dorries has been positive for nCoV.
The number of nCoV infections in the US has increased to 975, an additional 271 cases compared to the previous day, the number of deaths is now 30, an increase of 4 cases. President Donald Trump still refuted the possibility of widespread spread of nCoV, he compared it to ordinary flu in a Twitter post on 9/3.
Turkey, Jamaica, Panama, and Mongolia were the countries that recorded the first cases of nCoV yesterday.
The world currently records 118,903 cases of nCoV, 4,269 deaths and 65,110 people recovered.
