Covid-19 caused 60,457 deaths worldwide, including 44,132 cases in Europe, accounting for about 72% of all deaths.
As of April 4, Covid-19 had appeared in 205 countries and territories, leaving 1,130,204 people infected, 60,457 deaths and 238,498 people recovered.
With 14,681 deaths, Italy is the deadliest in the world, followed by Spain with 11,744 deaths. The number of deaths in Italy over the past three days increased between 720-770 and was lower than the previous few days. Spain also recorded a two-day reduction in nCoV deaths.
France and the UK, two other major epidemic regions of Europe, recorded nCoV deaths respectively, 6,107 and 4,313. The United States, which has the highest number of nCoV infections globally, currently reports 7,159 deaths.
Since Covid-19 broke out, the world has recorded 1,130,204 cases of nCoV infection with 610,846 people in Europe, accounting for more than half of all cases. 290,219 cases were reported in the US and Canada. In Asia, the number of infections is at 115,777, of which 4,124 have died.
After starting in Wuhan, China in December 2019, the Covid-19 epidemic moved to the United States and European countries. The World Health Organization (WHO) calls on countries that have imposed blockade to take more measures to find new cases and control the spread of nCoV.
