Michelle Obama said that people of color, she and her husband Barack Obama will never be able to ignore what's going on in the White House.

"If we were in the White House, we would never be able to ignore what's happening now, not because of the public opinion but because our community doesn't accept it," said the former first lady.

Appearing with her mother Marian Robinson and brother Craig Robinson, Michelle recalls a time when her brother was suddenly stopped by the police.

Craig Robinson, now executive director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches, said it was "horrifying" when it happened when he was 10 or 11 years old.

"People who are not in our position cannot understand this as a way of life interacting with the rest of the world. No matter who you are, how valuable you are, no one cares about reality.

Michelle also mentioned national protests against racism and police violence, which erupted in May after the black man George Floyd was killed by police in Minneapolis.

"The fact that there are people out there who treat us worse, even if we work hard to become better. That's the cause of the hurt, is something these young people are very angry with."

During the Democratic National Conference on August 17, Michelle once condemned Trump's calling the anti-racist protest crowd "thugs", and accused the US President of tolerating daimism.

According to her, Trump refused to acknowledge the racism that existed in US policy, with the result that the "endless list" of innocent people of color continued to be killed.

Michelle Obama is a celebrity of the Democratic Party and even American nonpartisan voters.
