The US Army is about to issue a camouflage veil after nearly a year of development, although only different in fabric masks in the material and name.
Army soldiers will soon be wearing a Combat Cloth Shield (CCFC), a product that the force has been researching and perfected for nearly a year to prevent nCoV from spreading in the force.
The US Army in a statement on December 16 said the CCFC is "rapidly designed, developed and manufactured", while this process usually takes place 18-24 months.
However, observers were quick to point out that CCFC differed from ordinary fabric masks in camouflage fabric and military abbreviations, while its design was not much different from a widely sold civilian product.
It is not clear why it took the US Army nearly a year to develop a mask model that civilian factories only take a few days or hours to design, in the context of the US is the largest Covid-19 outbreak.
The United States recorded nearly 18.5 million cases of nCoV infection and nearly 327,000 deaths.
Before the CCFC mask, it took the US Army nine years to choose a new pistol to replace the M9 model.
"We're not talking about the next moon landing. This is just a handgun. Two more years of testing and for $ 17 million? Just send me $ 17 million to a credit card.
However, the US Army's program of replacing pistols did not proceed any faster after criticism from General Milley.
