Georgia Governor Brian Kemp attended the White House Christmas party, although Trump attacked him and the state official for certifying the results of the election.
Republican Kemp, on December 18, tweeted a photo of him and his daughter Lucy at the White House amidst sparkling Christmas decorations.
"Lucy and I had a great time at today's White House Christmas Party. Merry Christmas everyone!", Kemp wrote.
"Not kidding," Jenna Ellis, an attorney in President Donald Trump's legal group, responded to Kemp's post.
Several other Trump supporters also reacted to the Governor's post, even criticizing him for not reviewing the President's claims about voter fraud.
Kemp posted the photo hours after Trump tagged him in a Twitter post, criticizing him and Georgia Attorney General Brad Raffensperger for not actually being Republican.
"President Trump is a really good man. He doesn't really like firing people. I bet he doesn't like sending people to jail, especially those considered Republicans," Wood said.
Kemp has faced Trump's assault since signing the state endorsement of the election results.
Trump said last month that he regrets supporting Kemp, and blamed the governor and Raffensperger for using the Dominion Voting System in Georgia.
The New York Times on December 18 reported that Trump had decided not to resume his scheduled trip to Georgia this weekend to lobby the two Republicans to run for the Senate.
