A 64-year-old teacher in the town of Mount Airy, Maryland has just won the second prize in two months with a prize worth $ 50,000.
The woman bought a $ 5 "Holiday Gold" ticket from Maryland Lottery, a Baltimore-based Maryland lottery company, at a convenience store. This ticket type was issued in October.
"Because it's a new ticket that has just been launched, I think there's a chance of winning," the woman has not disclosed. "I bought two tickets and sat in the car to scratch. The first ticket didn't hit, but on the second ticket, I screamed with joy."
Last month, she also won $ 50,000 when scratching a lottery ticket "Deal or No Deal" of Maryland Lottery.
This lucky woman has 22 years of age in special education. "I intend to use this money to support the elderly in my '90-year-old family', especially to open a care center for the elderly with disabilities. The money will be very useful in the near future." "she said.
