Banh Ngan Hoa, 29, who postponed his marriage due to the Covid-19 epidemic, died last night in Wuhan after being infected with nCoV.
Peng Yinhua, a respiratory specialist at the No. 1 People's Hospital of Jiangxia District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, died at 2150 pm last night, after being infected with nCoV during the treatment of the patient.
Dr. Peng was transferred to a local hospital for treatment from January 25, but the condition became more serious. On January 30, he was taken to Jin Yin Dam Hospital in Wuhan for emergency treatment and died here.
The Jiangxia County Health Committee sent deepest condolences to Dr. Peng's family. The district government has praised him as a shining example at the front of the epidemic, including an article about his postponement of the wedding scheduled to take place on February 1 to focus on anti-nCoV.

The China Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 3,003 medical doctors have been recorded or suspected of being infected with nCoV as of Feb. 11, of which 14 health workers have died. Dr. Li's death angered the public and claimed that the government owed him an apology. Doctor Li's family was paid 820,000 yuan (about 117,000 USD).
The Covid-19 outbreak in Wuhan since December 2019 has now appeared in 28 countries and territories around the world, making 76,202 people infected, 2,247 dead. Eleven people have died from outbreaks outside mainland China, including Japan, South Korea, France, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Iran.
The Hubei provincial government said the children of the frontline medical staff fighting the Covid-19 epidemic would receive a 10-point priority when they enter high school. The Wuhan government also announced that each physician who is infected with the virus will receive a support of 3,000 yuan ($ 430), while the family of medical personnel who have died will receive 5,000 yuan (more than $ 700).
