India Subhash Yadav in Uttar Pradesh collapsed as he prepared to eat his 42nd egg in a showdown with you.

Yadav, 42, of Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, and his friend went to the Bibiganj district market to eat eggs. The friend challenged Yadav to eat 50 eggs and bet 2,000 rupees (28 USD).

Yadav accepted the bet, but when he finished the 41st and was about to eat the 42nd, he collapsed and lost consciousness.

Despite being quickly taken by people, Yadav died a few hours later. Doctors at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh said Yadav died from overeating. Yadav's relatives declined to comment.
