"We have deeply reviewed this incident and apologized to everyone," the restaurant wrote in the statement, expressing its regret for not promptly preventing such customers' behavior. However, Ca-Tu-Ya denies that the young man in the photo is a restaurant employee as alleged by many social network users.
After the photo was shared online, Gigi June's account criticized the young man as a "selfish man" for doing so. This person expressed concern that the mask might contaminate the chopsticks in the tube, while Covid-19 was as complicated as it is today.
