This UAV model is notable for its "pocket" size, with a length of 17 cm and weighing 35 g.

Fengniao is slightly larger than the Black Hornet Nano, the ultra-small UAV 10 cm in length and 18 g in weight, made by Norwegian company Prox Dynamics.

Both Fengniao and Black Hornet Nano can operate for 25 minutes, but the Chinese UAV model uses removable and replaceable batteries after each flight, while the Black Hornet Nano uses a built-in rechargeable battery.

The two UAV models are equipped with a camera system that can take panoramic images at relatively high altitudes, and a thermal camera for night use.
