China's Agriculture Ministry said bird flu outbreaks of H5N1 broke out on a farm in Hunan province, killing 4,500 chickens.
The farm is located in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, southern China, with 7,850 chickens and more than half of them died from an H5N1 virus strain, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. for today 1/2. Thieu Duong officials took necessary measures to control the epidemic, including the destruction of 17,828 poultry.
H5N1 is a highly contagious influenza virus, in which some strains can be transmitted to humans. In 1997, H5N1 was detected spread through live bird markets in Hong Kong, killing 6 out of 18 people infected with the virus. In 2014, a Canadian citizen became the first patient to die from H5N1 in this country and North America, after bird flu has killed many people in a series of Asian countries, including Vietnam.
A new outbreak of bird flu has been detected when a new strain of pneumonia virus (nCoV) of pneumonia outbreaks in Wuhan City, Hubei Province of China continues to spread. The epidemic has killed 259 people in China and more than 12,000 virus infections globally, including nearly 390 in Hunan province.
