United States The California authorities imposed a strict blockade in the southern part of the state in the face of the danger of hospital overcrowding because of Covid-19.
The Southern California blockade takes effect from 0:00 on December 7 (15:00 Hanoi time), in which most offices must be closed and citizens in different households will not be gathered.
"We are at a turning point in the fight against nCoV and must act drastically to prevent hospital system overload in the coming weeks. The measure at home as the number of vacant intensive care beds (ICU) declines."
The California Department of Public Health previously said that the number of empty ICU beds in southern California and the San Joaquin Valley had fallen below 15 percent.
The blockade was judged to be strict, but still not by social stretch in March when authorities banned most outdoor activities, in which residents were not allowed to sit in public seats or walk.
California is experiencing a third outbreak with a record rising number of new infections and daily deaths.
Non-essential travel is restricted across the state, and hotels are not allowed for tourists.
Newsom Governor said there would be moves to help finance and reduce taxes for small businesses that were hit hard by the blockade.
The United States is currently the world's largest epidemic zone with more than 15 million cases of nCoV infection, of which nearly 289,000 people have died.
