A dam on the Seyba river in Russia's Siberia broke this morning, leaving 11 people dead, dozens injured and missing.
The dam at the reservoir owned by a gold mining company in the Kuraginsky city of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia broke at 2am this morning (6am Hanoi time), causing two temporary houses for workers to be flooded.
Authorities have found the bodies of 11 people, while the fate of 14 people missing are still unknown, according to a statement from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
All emergency rescue teams from the nearby town of Artyomovsk have been mobilized to the dam site. A fleet of 200 staff and five helicopters from the Siberian relief center were deployed to the area.
