Democrats in the US House of Representatives are ready to consider dismissing Trump for a second time next week, Assistant House Speaker Katherine Clark said.

Pelosi said Trump was held accountable when US presidential supporters flooded the January 6 parliament building, while the agency endorsed the electoral college's election results with Biden's victory.

Article 4 of Amendment 25 of the US Constitution provides that a vice president with the support of a majority of senior officials in the cabinet can submit documents to the bicameral of the US Congress stating that the president cannot exercise his powers.

However, Vice President Pence is believed to oppose triggering the 25th Amendment to remove Trump.

The US House of Representatives considered dismissing Trump in December 2019, after the US President refused to give aid to Ukraine to pressure its officials to open an investigation against Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.

It is not clear how the process of considering Trump's second dismissal will take place when the two houses of the US National Assembly are on vacation until January 20.
