A person who attended Trump's fundraising event in Mar-a-Lago last weekend was infected with nCoV, according to an unnamed Republican official.
He attended a lunch held by Trump Victory, a fundraising committee for the election campaign of Trump and the Republican party, in Mar-a-Lago, Florida on March 8. Republican officials emailed other guests present at the event to inform. There is no specific information about this person's identity.
This is the second person who ever attended the same event with Trump infected with nCoV. On March 12, Brazilian authorities announced press secretary Fabio Wajngarten, who accompanied Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro to meet Trump in Mar-a-Lago on March 7, positive for nCoV. Bolsonaro on March 13 announced that he had tested for the nCoV and the results were negative.
In a press conference on Covid-19 at the White House on March 13, Trump said he "most likely" would test for nCoV even though the President insisted he had no symptoms.
