Geologists of the Democratic Republic of Congo reported 61 earthquakes in the past 24 hours around the Nyiragongo volcanic area.
Today's report of Goma Crater Observatory (GVO) said the earthquake was recorded around Nyiragongo, the volcano erupted a week ago.
Volcano is higher than 3,500 meters located from Goma, the city with about 670,000 people, about 15 km.
A crack appears on the road due to the aftermansel after the Nyiragongo volcanic eruption near Goma, Chdc Congo on May 26.
Since then, this area witnesses a series of aftershocks and earthquakes, some can be felt from the Kigali capital of Rwandan, more than 100 km from the volcano.
GVO has given 4 scenarios, in which the earthquake stops and no second eruption occurs.
Cracks can also release deadly gas concentrations, accordingly, call people to stay away from the volcanic area.
